SOC2 Type 2 Assurance report for Davinci

Amsterdam, May 24, 2017 – After receiving the SOC2 Type 1 Assurance in October 2016, Davinci has also realised the SOC2 Type 2 Assurance after being audited by BDO.

SOC2 is a relatively new international standard specifically aimed at service delivery from IT service providers. The SOC2 report offers existing and potential clients an insight into the quality of the Managed Services, which Davinci offers as SaaS in the Cloud with its partner Amazon Web Services (AWS) to the financial sector in the field of lending and administration. The SOC2 Assurance report differs from more traditional certifications in the sense that it’s more elaborate, annually validated and performed by an independent third party.

The difference between Type 1 and Type 2

With the SOC2 Type 1 Assurance, the way an organisation plans to run its processes and controls is being checked. The SOC2 Type 2 Assurance re-occurs annually and checks if the agreed processes and controls are being performed.

The complete SOC2 Type 2 Assurance report is available (for internal use) for current and prospective service recipients of Davinci.
